  • Text Hello my name is Groovefile

So here goes our first blog-post. Nothing special yet since we are just being busy ‘setting-up’ some of the exciting new stuff we want to show you guys.

    What’s our Story?

First I would like to tell you a few things about our company. Here at Groovefile we are a top-notch first class company. Everything we do, everything we have, and everyone that works here is top notch. We have industry standard servers and we only have the best top-notch people – and nothing short of it.

This service is not like any other file locker service out there. We conceived the idea when we saw the movie “the soloist”. In the movie the main character, Jamie Foxx is an artist out of luck. Although he is homeless, he has an outstanding talent for playing the violin. After taking a moment we realized that there are a lot of people in this world that might not be fortunate enough to showcase there unique talents to the world with record labels or studio’s backing them. Just like how Jamie Foxx got a second chance in the movie we would like to give a second chance to all the content creators.

We have some rules and values here that we think you guys should know about. We would like to let everyone know what we stand for and believe in.

    • You’re the boss.

You pay our bills. It’s as simple as that. We build our features for you, and in reality you are building the product for us. Our main focus is the user.

    • We only hire the best.

It is often said that great people make great companies. That is why we invest in our people. Our COO (chief operating officer), Scott Ridenour for one has an MBA from Yale and has been involved in several startups in Silicon Valley.

    • Always punctual.

We are people from the corporate world and are always punctual. If it’s for affiliate payments, meetings with new clients or getting new servers. We will always do it promptly.

Just like the book “built-to-last”, we want to build a company that is going to grow with its content creators and we want to see them prosper.
